Idis
is unveiling a new range of
motorised focus and zoom dome
cameras expanding its Direct
IP camera line up. The new full
HD, 2 megapixel cameras allow
auto-focus to build upon Direct
IP plug-and-play technology and
further reduce installation and
commissioning time for installers
and integrators.
The new Idis DC-D2233 Series
dome cameras are available in five
variations. With all models offer-
ing the latest vari-focal motorised
focus and zoom (MFZ) lenses,
extensive features also include true
day and night capability, built-in
heaters, rugged IP66, and IK10
housing, all making the DC-
D2233 Series perfect for both
indoor and outdoor installations.
The new range also makes Di-
rect IP true plug-and-play set up
even easier. Zoom and focus are
controlled directly from Direct IP
network video recorders (NVR),
or even remotely, to make fine
tuning issues a thing of the past.
The result is less implementation
and commissioning time as well
as the streamlining of routine
maintenance.

Dallmeier launches Promo app

Either as an app for tablets (IOS /
Android) or in the desktop version
for PC or laptop: the Dallmeier
Promoapp contains essential infor-
mation about all aspects of video
surveillance and video security
technology. The latest product
data, videos and brochures are
included plus a wide range of free
tools.
The Promoapp includes a vir-
tual showroom and contains prod-
ucts and solutions in the following
categories: Cameras, recording,
management, video analysis and
video data transmission. The
Dallmeier Promoapp makes it easy
to stay up-to-date and offers direct
access to technical specifications
and datasheets as well as specific
links to instructions, white papers
or updates. An entertaining special
feature is dedicated to the patented
Panomera multifocal sensor tech-
nology, with many animation clips
and demo sequences.
In the "Tools" area Dallmeier
presents many of its handy, free
tools for planning video pro-
jects, such as a planning tool for
calculating and mapping video
surveillance projects, or other tools
such as a hard disk calculator or a
ViewDesigner for testing different
camera positions.
"Media centre" is home to a
large number of videos: Demo
sequences for the cameras, the
Dallmeier CCTV IP Academy or
"How To" videos with short, sim-
ple instructions on how to config-
ure HD cameras or set up a video
over IP network, for example.
The "Solutions" tab explains
how video technology use has
been optimised in several different
industries. From banks to sports
stadia, from airports to residential
buildings, many typical usage
scenarios for video installations are
explained. The item "Worth know-
ing" contains a short dictionary, in
which the most common abbrevia-
tions in the fields of video IP and
CCTV are explained

check in and receive their room
