At a ceremony at the International Stockholm Fair, during the security show Skydd 2000, the publishing company Ar Media presented the winners of the Detektor International Award.

From the stage in the A-hall Rachel Ward Owens, the MD of the Ar Media International Ltd (subsidiary of Ar Media AB) presented the "Best Security Product" and "Higly Commended Security Product" within Intruder Alarm, Access Control and CCTV.
