HID ranks top in biometric ID solutions
Austin, Tx (USA)
Frost & Sullivan
said HID and
the other 18 other companies
in the report, titled Frost Radar:
Biometric Authentication Solu-
tions, 2022, should be considered
first for investment, partnerships,
or benchmarking in this market
segment.
"Earning the highest score
on the Frost Radar growth index
is a testament to the hard work
and investment that HID has
put into its biometric authentica-
tion portfolio," comments Steve
Currie, Senior Vice President and
Managing Director of Extended
Access Technologies at HID.
HID's overall Growth Leader-
ship ranking was based on how
it builds upon its end-to-end
identity portfolio and how HID
offers a wealth of biometric reader
hardware and software platforms
using a wide range of biometric
modalities and furthers its cus-
tomers' digital identity ecosystem.
On the innovation index,
HID was recognised for success-
fully pivoting to more digital
identity solutions over the last
decade, ongoing solution devel-
opment for biometric credentials,
and ensuring its solutions work
with its legacy hardware as new
capability upgrades.
HID has ranked highest among 19 solution provid-
ers on the growth index of the Frost Radar bench-
marking system for analysing biometric authenti-
cation solution suppliers.
